disappointment came over me. I am so much more reliant on emails to help keep in touch with close friends and loved
ones.
However, I began to think how much easier it is to commune with e-mail. They are quick, even instant, and
do not have the hassle or inconvenience of finding an envelope, stamp and at some point posting it when I’m next at
the shops. You have a thought or idea you wish to discuss and you can just whisk off another simple e-mail note to
a friend. Practically like having an on-going conversation.
It then occurred to me that if that is the way I keep in contact with my friends as well as family then probably
this has been happening to a lot of friends over the years. Maybe friends I have lost touch with are quite
active with e-mail? Probably this could become an excellent way to renew old contacts if you could just look up an
email address for that person.
I emailed my friends later on that morning with regards to how disappointed I was with my heap of junk mail and
how I had keenly looked for that handwritten letter. This debate went backwards and forwards for a while untill
Jill said that an email had actually got her back in touch with one person she had lost contact with. Evidently she
had gained this person's e-address on the Word wide web. A reputable reverse e-mail address company offering

So that's exactly my project for this week. My list of friends that I would like to get in touch with again
